Hoxton Square Roof Extension
Hoxton Square has a varied landscape of roof-top architecture and our designs were determined by the location, the shape of the existing host building, and our sensitivity to the traditional yet quirky character of the square.
The faceted roof extension of the host building has cut-back edges which reduce the sight lines from street level. It is a homogeneous structural shell that is equally responsive to its surroundings and use. Roof lights enable natural light to filter into the workspaces within the new storey.
