Shoreditch Listed Development

A puzzle of buildings that originally housed one of the last multi-storey horse stables and carriage sheds in central London used to transport goods from Bishopsgate Goods Yard to North London.

Located adjacent to the Geffrye Museum on Kingsland Road a series of listed buildings constructed in the 1900’s has been converted into 9 apartments within the original renovated structure and a communal multi-functional space with B1 use has been created within the structure of the retained horse ramp.

A new 5-storey building was sensitively inserted into a vacant section of the site and seamlessly connects the old with the new and provides additional living spaces.
